Systems Analyst 2 (Web Developer)
Core Hours: Monday-Friday; 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Position Type: Full-time, permanent, classified, FLSA Exempt
Salary: Negotiable based on qualifications/experience (Minimum $29.66)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a Bachelor's degree in a computer related technical degree, or four years of equivalent work experience. Reviews, analyzes, and modifies web programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support an organization's application systems. Consults with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify application objectives. Writes documentation to describe application development, logic, coding, and corrections. Writes manuals for users to describe installation and operating procedures. Must have working knowledge of relational databases and client-server concepts. Should have knowledge of a broad range of relevant multi-user computer systems, programs, applications, and/or equipment. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Relies on experience, and judgment to perform the day-to-day operating environment, available tools, operating techniques and customer applications. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.

JOB FUNCTIONS:
Producing efficient and well-designed web code based on requirements. Testing and deploying web applications. Troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining, and improving existing web applications. Compiling and assessing user feedback to improve performance. Observing user feedback to recommend improvements to existing web applications. Developing technical documentation to guide future web development projects, as well as, installation, administrator, and user guides. Collaborate with management, departments, and customers to identify and to gather requirements for new and existing web applications. Responds to users by email, chat, or meetings to gather additional information relating to errors (bugs) in web applications. Enhance, troubleshoot, and repair SQL databases to ensure data integrity. Create reports and data queries (stored procedures, triggers, cursors, and views), using both ad-hoc and reusable reporting to fulfill miscellaneous needs to web applications based on requirements. Uses Ticketing System to determine assignments and associated priorities and records request progress and resolutions in a timely manner. Provides assistance to the Windows Developer with any overflow of work or responsibilities as needed or assigned. Works alone or with other persons in short or long-term team projects to resolve problems or conflicts in any area of county operations or to complete assigned projects at the direction of any county supervisor or Department Head when assigned. Works aggressively to reduce or eliminate safety/risk concerns in current position or work location. Reports safety/risk management issues to immediate supervisor. New and other related duties as assigned. As operational needs arise, may be required to assume additional duties of position within same classification.
