Messaging Systems Engineer – Hybrid

Job Title: Messaging Systems Engineer
W2 Rate: $50/hr
Location Details: Chandler, AZ or Charlotte, NC – HYBRID IN OFFICE
Duration: 12 months
Visa Requirements: Only taking USC, GC, H4 EAD, L2 Visa, or TN Visa. NOT able to take OPT EAD or CPT.

Required Qualifications:

1. 4+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience
2. 4+ years working in a large Production Messaging environment, with specific experience in SMTP configuration/connectivity, mail flow, DNS, MX, DKIM, SPF.
3. 1-year hands-on experience with Proofpoint Hybrid (POD and Sentrions).
4. Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills.
5. Experience working for a financial institution and regulatory requirements STRONGLY PREFERRED

Desired Qualifications:

1. 2+ years working with Email Security specific applications such as Proofpoint, M365 Defender, FireEye, DLP.
2. Experience with tools such as Service Now, Jira, Nagios, Splunk
3. Experience working with enterprise change and incident management processes, security policies, regulatory, risk, compliance.
4. Experience with Agile methodology, Jira, and Product Model preferred.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

1. Design, document, test, maintain, and provide issue resolution recommendations for moderately complex solutions related to email and endpoint security.
2. Review and correlate system logs and do extensive research and troubleshooting.
