EXCLUSIVE: SOFTWARE DEVELOPER (Python, C++)
Goliath has retained an exclusive role with a scaling Proprietary Systematic Trading Firm out of Chicago. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing desk early on and learn from some of the best in the space.
Role:
The firm is looking for a Software Engineer with a couple years of experience using C++ in a professional setting. The role will be onsite 4-5 days a week in Chicago working to grow a more modest LL desk within a larger trading team. One of the firms senior-most and highly respected engineers will be leading the development.
Work involvement includes developing/ optimizing algorithms and latency software engineering.
Essential skills:
BS in Comp Sci/ Mathematics/ Physics or similarly related field.
Proficiency with C++ and exposure in Python.
Extensive experience with algorithm development & data structures.
Beneficial skills:
MS/PhD or similarly related field.
Experienced in equities, derivatives or fixed income.
Experience with tick data
Knowledge or work in a low latency/ Ultra low latency environment
Background in trading development is ideal or finance
Mathematical achievements / competitions.
Total Compensation for this specific position is ranging between $300-450k.
