Engineer, Product IIJob DetailsJob LocationCarondelet Corp. - Pevely, MODescriptionWe have an opportunity for an Engineer to create manufacturing routings, develop process improvements and direct projects in support of the manufacturer of a wide variety of parts and assemblies. This position also plays an important role in shop floor and supplier problem solving, as well as, in our continuous improvement efforts. This position is responsible for taking drawings/CAD data, specifications and financial information from the Sales and QA Departments and develop casting rigging/pattern design, order patterns, crates, and other required items, create work instructions, follow samples, review parts in the cleaning room for quality, and verify parts to meet customer’s casting requirements while maximizing profitability.QualificationsBachelor of Science Degree in Engineering preferably with a minimum of 2 years of foundry engineering experience in a sand-casting plantTooling design experience is preferredGeneral computer literacy that includes a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite is required.
