Software Engineering Manager

Department: Research & Advisory Engineering, FactSet Research Systems Inc.

Location: Norwalk, CT

Job Description: Manage a team of software engineers or projects within the Research & Advisory Engineering department.

Minimum Requirements:

1. BA or higher, or foreign equivalent in CS or related technical field
2. 2 years of software engineering industry experience with:
1. HTML, CSS, Javascript, JSON, AJAX, Jquery, Node.js, Vue.js
2. Git, Object Oriented Programming, Multi-threaded Programming
3. Parallel & Distributed Systems
4. Database design & configuration including SQL Server/Postgres/Dynamo DB
5. AWS services such as Lambda, SQS, Glue, EC2, Batch
6. Experience in developing & supporting new applications

Responsibilities:

1. Front-end application development
2. Working with the Product Development team on incremental product feature addition
3. Diagnosis & resolution of client bugs & issues
4. Implementation of financial models
5. Loading of client & third-party data
6. Must also have full life cycle experience.

Salary: $115K to $145K per year

Employment: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
