What you will get to do:

  • Ensures that information systems products meet end-user functional and design requirements through the execution of software quality tests.
  • Executes integration, performance, regression, and/or acceptance testing. Performs risk assessments, determines testing plans, analyzes test results, and retests software corrections to ensure appropriate corrective action is taken to maintain quality standards.
  • Develops and supports the test automation environment for executing software quality tests. Works closely with information technology teams in the planning, design, maintenance, implementation, and accessibility of physical and virtual automation frameworks or infrastructure for testing activities.
  • Career-level professional leading small, moderately complex projects or working on complex tasks that require a high degree of judgment, resourcefulness, and self-initiative.
  • Demonstrates specialized expertise to evaluate wide-ranging and complex issues and develop creative solutions.
  • Recommends new procedures.
  • Work closely with development, product, and UX designers to understand requirements and ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Developed and executed test plans and test cases for web applications, continuously improving test coverage and effectiveness ensuring comprehensive coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Participated in Agile ceremonies, providing valuable feedback and contributing to sprint planning and retrospective meetings.
  • Conducted root cause analysis for critical issues, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Created and maintained automated test scripts using TestComplete and ReadyAPI, enhancing the efficiency of the testing process.
  • Perform security testing to identify vulnerabilities and ensure the application meets security requirements.
  • Assist Stakeholders in executing UAT and gathering feedback for further improvements.
  • Mentor and train junior QA engineers on automation best practices.

What you will bring:

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks like Selenium, Appium, TestComplete, Cucumber, or similar.
  • Experience with RDBMS (Oracle or SQL Server) or NoSQL like MongoDB.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools like Jenkins to monitor and troubleshoot CI/CD pipeline issues related to build, deploying, and ensuring automated tests run seamlessly in the CI/CD environment, providing quick feedback on code changes.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git, Docker, Containerization, Kubernetes.
  • Experience with API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, ReadyAPI or SoapUI.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC), agile methodologies, and QA best practices.
  • Experience with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr.
  • Minimally requires a Master's degree and 1 year of related experience, a Bachelor's degree and 3 years of related experience, or a high school degree and 5 years of related experience.
