What You'll Do
We are seeking a Sr. Software Developer to support essential services and mission critical activities across the enterprise. Our mission supports the Government Corporate Management Services (CMS) by providing full life cycle support services through the sustainment, modernization, and transformation of the enterprise corporate applications. These applications are used across the government enterprise and are critical to the daily functions of thousands of users across acquisition, business, finance, HR, training, recruitment, program management, security, logistics and more. - Join a team that provides development support to Security Sustainment applications for mission critical functions.
- Primary responsibility will be providing application development and production support.
- The applications supported are front-end technologies, i.e., JavaScript (AngularJS, Vue.js, Node.js).
- The role requires a self-motivated individual that is comfortable working in a team environment.
- This position will require working in a fast-paced team and a willingness to take on challenges to upgrade or modify sustainment systems.
Required Qualifications
- TS/SCI with Polygraph
- A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and six (6) years of experience in software development/engineering. Ten (10) years of experience in software development/engineering may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- Experience working with front-end technologies including JavaScript.
- Willingness to learn new technologies.
- Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL database experience.
- Experience developing and updating technical documentation.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Node.js, AngularJS, Angular, VueJS or comparable JavaScript frameworks/libraries.
- Experience with containerization.
- Experience working with Git for source code management.
- Experience with NiFi.
- Experience working with the AWS Platform.
- Experience working in an Agile Development Team.
- Experience managing the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) to include requirements definition, design, development, test, deployment, and sustainment.
