We are currently seeking a Jr. Cybersecurity Engineer to support our DoD customer.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyzes and defines security requirements for multilevel security (MLS) systems
- Design, develops, engineers, and integrates solutions to MLS requirements
- Conducts security audits
- Generates system-level security documentation
- Supports the development of System Operation Procedure documents
- Applies knowledge of IT Governance requirements, risk mitigation strategies, and encryption and decryption capabilities to establish secure solutions
- Performs risk analysis, including risk assessment processes and procedures
- Recommends information assurance/security solutions to support customers’ requirements.
- Performs analysis, design, and development of security features for system architectures.
- Provides integration and implementation of the computer system security solution.
- Analyzes general information assurance-related technical problems and provides basic engineering and technical support in solving these problems.
- Performs vulnerability/risk analyses of computer systems and applications during all phases of the system development life cycle
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Cyber Security, InfoSec, Security Engineering or Network Engineering
- Must possess a valid Secret clearance
- Must possess CompTIA Security+
- Knowledge of deploying secure systems in the Cloud, with preference to AWS GovCloud
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of computer networking concepts and protocols
- Working knowledge of NIST 800-53 controls and RMF
- Understanding of system security concepts, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Skills:
- Certification(s): Security+, GCIH, CEH, or CYSA+ is desired
- Experience with manual and automated security administration, remediation, and hardening (STIG reviews, group policy and permissions, system modifications based on vulnerability scans, audits, and mitigations; patch management)
- Experience analyzing and interpreting outputs of various endpoint security, vulnerability, and enumeration tools (example: Tenable Nessus, Security Center, SolarWinds, EndPoint Security Solutions, Vulnerator SCAP Compliance Checker)
