Analytics Engineer - Latin America and US candidates only

Vendoo is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join our team and provide pivotal support to our Product new users mission in driving product strategy across multiple squads. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for data analysis, insights generation, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies. As an Analytics Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our product decision-making process, focusing on optimizing our top-of-the-funnel activities and product-led growth initiatives through data-driven insights.

Responsibilities

  1. Collect, process, and analyze data related to customer behavior, market trends, product performance, and funnel optimization.
  2. Work closely with product and development teams to identify key metrics for product success and establish processes for continuous monitoring and improvement.
  3. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide insights into product performance, lead quality, conversion rates, and user engagement.
  4. Conduct in-depth analysis to uncover opportunities for product innovation, user experience enhancement, and growth acceleration.
  5. Support the Group Product Manager in making informed decisions by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency across platforms.
  7. Stay up-to-date with the latest tools and techniques in data analysis and product analytics.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field.
  2. Proven experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role, preferably within a product-driven environment.
  3. Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, PowerBI).
  4. Experience with data modeling, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling techniques.
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex datasets into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
  6. Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex data insights in a clear and effective manner to stakeholders at all levels.
  7. Knowledge of product analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude) is a plus.
  8. Needs to be a proactive, collaborative team player with a strong attention to detail and a results-driven approach.
