Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is typically required. A master's degree may be preferred, especially for managerial positions.
- Manufacturing Engineering Expertise: In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, methodologies, and best practices. Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement tools.
- Strong business acumen.
- Will lead Manufacturing Engineering for existing processes and develops future processes.
- Broad understanding and experience of manufacturing methodologies and processes
- Develop future manufacturing concepts.
- Industry 4.0 experience.
- Implementing automation projects.
- Capital equipment management, makes budgets, tracks costs.
- Automotive experience highly preferred in manufacturing.
- Strong assembly experience.
- Experienced leading & implementing Process Flow diagrams, FMEA, Control Plans, Process audit sheets.
- Experienced ERP user eg Power User, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle etc.
- Strong Root Cause Analysis skills.
- Ideally Six Sigma Black Belt and trained in other problem-solving techniques eg RedX.
- Demonstrated experience implementing production floor systems - SPC, MES solutions, Traceability.
- Data analytics - compiles KPI's, analyzes and collects data to drive improvements.
