Reports to: Director, Engineering
Primary Areas of Responsibilities :
- Support the development of more efficient electrical systems, reducing production costs by an estimated 10% through optimized design and material selection.
- Facilitate the electrical implementation of our retrofittable design for glass cockpit. This project will potentially increase revenue by 25k per aircraft and decrease labor costs.
- Enhance our compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices within the engineering team, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test electrical systems for aircraft manufacturing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes
- Implement cost-saving initiatives and efficiency improvements
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in electrical engineering
- 5+ years of experience in aircraft manufacturing or similar industry
- Proficiency in electrical design for aviation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Salary Description
120,000 to 140,000 per year
