Computer Systems Engineer

Brief Overview of Position:

Strategic Operational Solutions (STOPSO) is seeking candidates for a Computer Systems Engineer/Architect role to support a federal client where we are focused on delivering innovative operations and solutions through proven successful methods. The ideal applicant is versatile, with a broad background and demonstrated ability to produce quality work. You must be comfortable in a challenging, collaborative, multi-tasking, dynamic, high-tempo, deadline-intensive environment with a flexible work schedule supporting multiple customers.

Description of Duties:

1. Provide ServiceNow expertise to ensure business and technical requirements are implemented in the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) ServiceNow environments.
2. Provide technical expertise to staff to advise on requirements for development and using the ServiceNow products owned by IRS, for the management and operations tools to support IRS information technology service desk.
3. Advise Information Technology Service Desk on required services for ongoing operations and maintenance for virtual agents, self-service portal, knowledge management and eGain integration.

Education, Experience, and Security Requirements:

1. The position requires proficiency in laptop and desktop computers.
2. The position requires proficiency in operating systems and hardware technologies.
3. The position requires strong customer service skills, both orally and written.
4. Highly desired: Certified in ServiceNow and eGain software support, development, and implementation.
5. Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
