Job Description:

Senior security professional with a firm understanding of cybersecurity principles and Google Cloud platform to work on threat modeling of various Google cloud services such as GKE, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage etc. Using threat modeling, you will identify threats and specify mitigating controls that will directly reduce the risk of operating in the Google Cloud platform.

Required Technical Skills:

1. IT experience minimum of 10 years, with a minimum of 4 years in Cyber-Security/Information Security preferably in a highly regulated industry like financial services.
2. Threat Modeling (STRIDE, PASTA, Attack trees, tooling, Attack).
3. Identifying vulnerabilities using CWE or OWASP.
4. Experience working in a cyber-security role.
5. Extensive knowledge of Google Cloud platform.
6. Security practices pertaining to authentication, authorization, logging/monitoring, encryption, infrastructure security, network/segmentation.
7. Operating systems and their hardening.
8. Development concepts (such as: CICD, Pipelines, SDLC).
9. Scripting languages, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
10. Operating in a DevOps/agile team structure.
11. Understanding of Docker/K8S/serverless/helm.
12. Design and review technical architectures.

Certifications:

1. Google Cloud Architect, Cloud Developer, Data Engineer, Network Engineer, etc.
2. Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer.
3. CISM, CISSP or any equivalent professional cyber security certification.
