Python Developer - Atlanta or Minneapolis

We are seeking a talented Python Developer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Python programming and a proven track record of delivering high-quality, maintainable applications.

Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
3. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
4. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
6. Stay up-to-date with the latest Python technologies and industry trends.

What we are looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2. Experience as a senior software developer for high-tech products or services.
3. 5+ years of Python programming experience in a production environment.
4. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
5. Proficiency in Python frameworks and libraries (e.g., Django, Flask).
6. Proven history of solving complex problems both in code and in person.

Nice to have

1. Event-driven, messaging, or stream processing experience.
2. Experience with Cloud (AWS, GCP, or Azure) – AWS preferred.
3. DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, or Openshift experience.
4. Machine learning experience.
