Financial Engineer
Location(s): Windsor, Connecticut - Hybrid

This position is part of a team that provides risk analytic calculations and reports to asset managers, investors, and regulators. The team manages position-level data, identifies the risk characteristics of investment positions, applies appropriate financial models, and configures results to meet the required reporting structures.

What You Will Get to Do
- Manage investment position data for upload into the risk calculation system.
- Run financial models necessary to calculate the metrics required by the client.
- Analyze reported results for accuracy.
- Deliver reports to clients.
- Explain and answer client questions regarding risk calculations and reports.
- Assist in preparing sales demonstrations for prospective clients.
What You Will Bring
- Strong background in mathematics, particularly financial mathematics.
- Experience working with large datasets and financial analysis software.
- Proficiency in computer and database languages.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Customer-oriented attitude.
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in financial or risk mathematics or a related field.
- Passed or planning to take CFA Charter holder or FRM courses/exams.
- Be able to code in Python, SQL, and VBA.
