We are seeking a Director of Engineering to lead our young and talented team of engineers in building cutting edge technology, impacting human lives in the cancer treatment field. As a member of the senior leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the company's technological direction and ensuring that our engineering efforts are aligned with our overall business goals.
Responsibilities:
· Provide strategic leadership and direction for the engineering organization, including the technical roadmap.
· Oversee all aspects of the engineering lifecycle, from concept to development and deployment.
· Build, grow, and mentor a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
· Manage the engineering budget and resources effectively.
· Recruit, hire, and retain top engineering talent.
· Collaborate closely with production and other departments to ensure seamless product development.
· Stay up-to-date on the latest engineering trends and technologies.
· Develop and implement best practices for software development, testing, and deployment.
· Ensure that the engineering organization meets all deadlines and quality standards.
· Represent the engineering organization to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
· Minimum 10 years of experience in engineering leadership roles.
· Proven track record of building and scaling high-performing engineering teams.
· Deep understanding of software development methodologies
· Experience in developing and managing a technical roadmap.
· Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to think strategically and make sound technical decisions.
· Passion for building innovative products and technologies.

· An advanced degree in computer science or a related field.

Position is located in Stratford, CT. Candidate must be able to work from CT location 3 days/week.
