Position: AWS Python Developer

Location: Reston, VA (Hybrid)

Work type: Fulltime (W2) only

PETADATA is currently looking to hire for the position of AWS Python Developer for one of their clients.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. The Ideal candidate needs to develop, test, and maintain high-quality software using Python programming language.
2. Must have participated in the entire software development lifecycle, building, testing, and delivering high-quality solutions.
3. Need to collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex problems.
4. Should be able to write clean and reusable code that can be easily maintained and scaled.
5. Have to create large-scale data processing pipelines to help developers build and train novel machine learning algorithms.
6. Participate in code reviews, ensure code quality, and identify areas for improvement to implement practical solutions.
7. Hands on debugging codes when required and troubleshooting any Python-related queries.
8. Keep up to date with emerging trends and technologies in Python development.

Required Skills:

1. The candidate should have 9+ years of experience as a Python Developer with a strong portfolio of projects.
2. Must have an in-depth knowledge of Python software development stacks, ecosystems, frameworks, and tools such as Numpy, Scipy, Pandas, Dask, spaCy, sci-kit-learn, and Pyspark.
3. Need to be an expert in front-end development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
4. Must be Familiar with database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL.
5. Should have excellent problem-solving ability with solid communication and collaboration skills.
6. Must be an expert in cloud platforms such as AWS services (S3, RDS, EC2, Lambda, SQS, SNS, Redshift).
7. Should possess excellent problem-solving ability with solid communication and collaboration skills.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
