Role/Responsibilities/Qualifications

In this role, you will be part of a team managing a large system procurement, providing expert input and advice related to space, launch, and ground system commercial program management.

For this role, key qualifications are 10+ years of relevant experience within the following skills (15+ Preferred):

  • Experience with Space to Ground Communications, Ground Data Infrastructure, spacecraft mission operations, and data security
  • Spacecraft RF and optical communications
  • Space-to-space and space-to-ground based networking, including secure data systems
  • Manage internal spacecraft and external interfaces
  • Cloud networking experience
  • Subcontractor interface management, technical and project
  • Spacecraft integration and testing experience including development of test plans
  • Spacecraft software development standards
  • Experience with systems engineering practices including trade studies, requirements management and risk management
  • SDA NOVA, SUPERNOVA and NEBULA experience
  • Experience with satellite cyber security protocols

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with common suppliers of aerospace grade components and units

Candidate may have experience in one of many of the following:

  • ConOps experience with multi-satellite constellations with intersatellite and space-to-ground data and control links

Education:

  • BS Engineering; MS preferred

Security Clearance:

  • Secret, or ability to obtain Secret clearance

The typical pay range for this position is USD $160,000 - $235,000 per year, total package. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual performance bonus, retirement plan and other benefits (all included as part of package).
