OVERVIEW

The Mechanical Inspector is responsible for ensuring that the Project Quality Plan is developed and implemented in conjunction with the Project Execution Plan. This role will promote quality awareness throughout the organization, emphasizing excellence, continuous improvement, and corrective action to influence the overall success of the company's business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review specifications, procedures, and standards used on the construction site
• Conduct mechanical testing on equipment and piping
• Inspect, witness, or verify to ensure the quality of materials, structures, or systems
• Conduct factory acceptance tests of installations and equipment
• Monitor mechanical systems of plant equipment before and during installation
• Organize and implement record retention systems

REQUIREMENTS

• 7+ years of on-site inspection experience in mechanical and piping inspection during construction
• 10+ years of experience in Industrial construction experience required
