Process Engineer

An industry leading Food manufacturing organization is currently seeking a Process Engineer for their flagship facility. Essential Functions:

• Monitors, measures and reports manufacturing performance and develops new techniques to reduce losses and improve quality. Recommends and implements changes to product or process which would improve cost, delivery, and quality for the customer.
• Works on projects to improve efficiency- ie. run rates, setup time, yield
• Reads operating logs to identify inoperative injection machines, determines reasons for machine malfunctions, and arranges for machine repair.
• Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product, and suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's Degree or proven technical capabilities.
• 1-4 years experience working within a manufacturing environment.
