Job Requirements / Description

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer who will be responsible for evaluating and interpreting environmental data, performing engineering and scientific analysis and evaluation, and reports and designs for projects. Performs duties in collaboration with senior engineers.

Duties include:

  • Environmental assessment and site characterization.
  • Fieldwork and oversight of exploration projects, environmental drilling, sampling, phase 1, site assessment, and monitoring.
  • Technical analysis which includes evaluation of analytical results, hazard evaluation, and remedial alternatives.
  • Prepare design documents and supporting deliverables, including engineering calculations, design drawings, specifications, and engineers’ estimates.
  • Lead the generation of technical reports including completion of routine reports, figures, tables, etc.
  • Ensure work performed is consistent with project plans and specifications.
  • UST removal and remediation for public and private clients.

Experience and qualifications required:

  • At least 5-10 years of experience in environmental engineering or a similar field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil/environmental engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) License
  • Experience in soil sampling and groundwater.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in addition to technical writing skills.
  • Works well independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to consistently meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Able to perform consistent work on a computer.
  • Pre-employment background check and drug and alcohol test.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Job Type: Full-time, non-exempt

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift, overtime as needed
  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

  • End of year bonus

Work Location: In-person Spokane Valley, WA. Projects are typically within a 300-mile radius of the Spokane area.
