PRODUCT ENGINEERING SPECIALIST

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Schedule internal and external garage door testing
• Oversee all aspects of the garage door testing
• Assist lab technician as needed
• Check test reports
• Create test related drawings
• Submit drawings and related documents to governing bodies for approval
• Create Engineering Change Documents (ECN's)
• Provide technical support to Customers and Tech Team
• Participate in Monthly wind load meetings

Skills:

• Good understanding of DASMA test standards and other related standards
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of sectional and rolling steel garage doors
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Good understanding of ISO 17025 (Lab Accreditation)
• Strong team player

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and have knowledge of 2D drafting skills, preferably Solid Edge
Certificates and Licenses:
No certifications needed.
