About the Company:
Company Insight: A Chicago-based HFT firm is expanding its team of C++ engineers at all levels. As a collaborative company with an extremely flat structure, they're smaller than the big players, so you’ll have the unique opportunity for real impact and the chance to wear multiple hats.
Responsibilities:
- Implement: new exchange connectivity within existing infrastructure
- Build monitoring systems for trading strategies (e.g., intraday drawdown, lost exchange connectivity, lost connectivity within firm’s network, etc.)
- Extend the firm’s core research infrastructure. Design, implement and maintain distributed storage systems.
- Address performance limitations within Linux.
- Investigate new technologies to improve the stability, scalability and performance of the research platform.
- Conduct performance optimization of the live trading strategy – implementing new strategies and optimizing existing ones.
Required Skills:
- 1 - 5 years' experience in a similar role.
- Strong educational background.
- C++ experience.
- Intellectually driven.
- Passionate about research, technology and trading outcomes.
- Interested in a collaborative environment.
Pay range and compensation package:
Extremely Competitive Pay - $250k - $450k total comp. Visa Sponsorship. Will wait for long notices and long non-competes.
