Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation of new processes, equipment, and assembly systems
  • Identify improvement opportunities in safety, quality, throughput, and cost
  • Evaluate vendor proposals for new equipment
  • Optimize manufacturing processes using continuous improvement strategies
  • Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to ensure equipment functionality
  • Develop visual work instructions as part of process development
  • Provide production support and troubleshoot process issues
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives related to scrap, rework, and cycle times
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience managing capital projects in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of equipment and systems appropriate to engineering disciplines
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and computer literacy
Education Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Material Science, Mechanical, Welding, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or combined related experience required OR 6 years of equivalent experience with demonstrated knowledge in the field
Education Requirements Credential Category
  • Engineering or related field degree
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years managing the implementation of capital projects involving new equipment and/or systems
  • 2-4 years of engineering project experience in a metal manufacturing environment
  • Experience with Lean manufacturing techniques, capability studies, and root cause analysis

3. Do you have CAD experience required i.e.: AutoCAD, Pro E, Solid Works Creo.
4. Do you have 2-4 years engineering project experience in a metal manufacturing environment.
5. Do you have experience in Lean manufacturing techniques, capability studies, process mapping, FMEA, and root cause analysis
6. Are you computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office
7. Do you have knowledge of equipment and systems appropriate to related discipline - NICE TO HAVE:
