This client specializes in balancing and gauging equipment for wheel and tire balancing and uniformity.Employment Type: Temp to PermExpected Pay Rate Range: $28-$41 per hour depending on experience and backgroundLocation: Indianapolis, IndianaJob Requirements:- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering- Five years  of experience in mechanical system design/coordination- Proficiency with Solidworks design software- Experience designing automated equipment or designing toolsÂ- Preferred candidates will have a strong background in AutoCAD and Inventor as wellJob Duties:- Primarily designing conveyor systems, mechanisms to move and hold product test samples and sensors- Design equipment that utilizes roller and belt conveyors, belt and chain drives, air cylinders, and linear rails- Develop systems that include guarding systems to keep human operators safe- Partner with engineers from other disciplines to integrate automated controls systems and servo motors- Work with the fabrication department and installation team to ensure smooth commissioning and startup of systems- Recommend improvements or upgrades to design where requiredIn addition to these requirements, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.To be considered for this position, apply via the link, or send an up-to-date resume to   and reference this job posting.
