Lead Full Stack Developer - 6 month Contract
We are currently developing cloud-based Digital Banking and Investment platforms and we're looking for a Lead Full-Stack Developer to join our passionate and professional team, to work on innovative initiatives.
This is a great opportunity to work on the development of a brand new, state of the art system!
What you’ll do:
- Design, development and test both applications and core service APIs around the current investment business and the new banking platform
- Enhance and extend current software systems to cover newer business, reporting, compliance or risk requirements
- Integration and transformation of data from reporting departments, institutions or third parties
- Collaborative architectural design and analysis of solutions
- Management and maintenance of current company software systems
- Manage and facilitate the control of data and information throughout the group of companies
- Ongoing security and stability assessments of software systems
- Unit testing design and development, code review/sign off, automation testing tools and customer journey improvement
- Lead and mentor small team of seasoned developers
- Assure good code quality and best development practices
What you’ll need to succeed:
- PHP, or NodeJS, or Java or .NET
- MVC Frameworks such as Laravel, or Symfony or ASP.NET MVC
- Frontend frameworks like AngularJS, or ReactJS, or VueJS
- Databases like MySQL, or MariaDB or similar
- Unit Testing tools like PHPUnit, NUnit or similar
- Agile and Dynamic Development environments
- "Can Do!" approach and accountability as an individual and as part of the wider team
- Experience in leading development teams and driving delivery of key projects
- Experience in technical mentorship and implementation of quality coding standards
Extras we'd be thrilled if you have:
- Experience in Banking, Investment or Fintech companies
- Good problem-solving skills (with a systematic and detailed approach)
- Experience in Distributed System Design
- Experience in rich and dynamic web or mobile applications
- An aptitude for learning and continual growth, while interested in sharing skills and helping others
