They should have experience in designing, coding, testing and consistently managing applications They should be comfortable coding in a number of languages and have an ability to test code in order to maintain high-quality code.

The Role

Responsibilities:


Develops, enhances, debugs, supports, maintains and tests software applications for our Digital client facing platform & supports business units or supporting functions for Benefits online.

Participates in the design, development and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies, software, hardware and tools.

Work with and collaborate with other programmers and Engineering partners to ensure successful delivery and implementation of the software application.

Will also collaborate with administrators to provide technical support. Communication and organization skills are key for this position, along with a problem-solution attitude.


Requirements

You are:


•NET Framework/ASP.NET 4.0/.NET MVC (web forms, web controls, user controls, master pages, script manager)

•Single Page Application/JS Templating/Client side MVC

•Consuming ASP.net web services and script services (asmx, wcf)

•Knowledge of asp.net web services architecture

•Web GUI development

•Strong client-side development

•Strong skills at profiling application both on server-side (MS ACT, ANTS Profiler) and client-side

•Strong skills at performance application tuning

•5+ years development experience in the Financial Services Industry

•Experience in designing complex SQL queries and translate data into information, according to our company’s needs. Will be responsible for developing, testing, improving and maintaining new and existing data processes to help users retrieve information effectively.

•Ability to work in a Lean-Agile environment a plus

•Routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities.

•Prior Production Support working experience is a plus

•Ability to quickly learn new technologies, software development methodologies, and business domain
