Job Summary:

Seeking a qualified consultant to provide data analysis and visualization services for an educational institute in Los Angeles, CA.

Responsibilities:

• Devise and execute a strategic vision for Power BI, aligning it with organizational goals and fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making.
• Design and optimize DAX expressions for calculated columns, measures, and calculated tables to ensure efficient and accurate data modeling.
• Conduct regular code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices in Power BI development.
• Optimize Power BI performance by fine-tuning DAX queries, data models, and report designs.
• Implement caching strategies and other performance-enhancing techniques to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Implement and enforce data governance policies specific to Power BI solutions.
• Collaborate with data stewards to ensure data quality, compliance, and the secure handling of sensitive information.
• Establish role-based access controls within Power BI to manage user permissions effectively.

Qualifications:

• (5) years of experience analyzing data and developing reports and dashboards using Power BI data visualization.
• Experience leading the end-to-end implementation of Power BI solutions, from data acquisition and transformation to the creation of dynamic and impactful dashboards.
• Ability to architect scalable and efficient data models in Power BI, leveraging DAX to create sophisticated calculations and aggregations.
• Proven experience crafting visually compelling dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights, utilizing DAX for advanced analytics and calculations.
