DescriptionLinQuest is seeking a Space Systems Engineer to join our team onsite in El Segundo, CA. An active TS/SCI clearance with a CI/poly is requiredThis Space Systems Engineer will support Space Systems Command Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power (SSC/SZ) portfolio.Position SummaryLead technical requirements development, systems engineering, and oversee development contractor to develop, design, produce, integrate and test space systemsOversee payload integration and interface control managementPerform system integration of multiple efforts to integrate complex space systems, ground segment integration, and deployment into operationManage and negotiate interface control documents with external stakeholdersPerform systems architecting and engineering activities such as system requirements definition, interface definition, design, interface management, data architecture development, systems integration, performance analysis, lifecycle cost analysis & estimation, decision analysis, and development and refinement of concepts of operationOversee requirements verification and validationMake program risks assessments and provides actionable recommendations to the chief engineer and program managerIndependently collaborate with Government program office representatives, FFRDC, SETA, and contractor personnelRequired Skills and Experience:Bachelor of Science and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; 4 additional years of experience may be used in lieu of degreeExperience with technical requirements development, systems engineering, and overseeing development contractor to develop, design, produce, integrate and test space systemsExperience with requirements verification and validationThe ability to work in a secure, confined location (i.e., SCIF)Must have an in-scope security background investigation (T5 or SSBI), adjudicated for SCI eligibility and enrolled in the Continuous Evaluation program (if applicable)Must be willing to be nominated for access to Sensitive Compartment Information and Special Access Programs and willing to consent to a Polygraph examinationCompensation: The salary for this position ranges from approximately $175,000 to $200,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications.Why LinQuest?LinQuest Corporation has a stellar 40-year track record of providing end-to-end system-of-systems (SoS) architecture definition, engineering design, integration and test, and operations expertise to enable full lifecycle development and deployment of pre-eminent Space, Air, Land, Sea, Ground, and Cyberspace game-changing capabilities across US DOD and IC Customers’ portfolios.
