Test Engineer - ICT

Job Responsibilities

1. Creates and maintains programs for the Flying Probe, ICT, and other test equipment as needed.
2. Liaise with test fixture vendors for ICT programming.
3. Utilize oscilloscopes and other test equipment to generate test programs and diagnose and debug circuits.
4. Develop and produce various reports for internal and external use on an as needed basis.
5. Develop DFT test coverage reports for both internal and external use.
6. Once Boundary Scan capability is available, learn the system chosen and develop programs for production use.
7. Support all test activities carried out in manufacturing either directly or by supervising and assisting test technicians in test station set up and PCB test and debug operations.
8. Liaise with customer representatives as directed on test related issues on customer designs.
9. Support engineering in product and process root cause analysis.
10. Familiar with and utilize precision measuring devices and electronic equipment to ensure compliance of parts and product with established standards and specifications.
11. Required to support Lean/Continuous Improvement philosophies regarding preventive actions and department operation.
12. Perform with minimum supervision and technical assistance while maintaining strict adherence to quality standards.
13. Support production as needed.
14. Interface and support internal customers (production, quality, engineering, etc.).
15. Follow all health and safety policies at all times.
16. Support a Quality Management system including conformance to ISO based registrations and controls for the facility business plan based upon targeted market sectors.
17. Possess good communication, listening, and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to individuals from multi-cultural backgrounds and build trusting relationships in order to gain support and achieve results, at all levels within the organization.
18. Possess a high level of integrity in handling confidential and sensitive information.
