PLC Programmer

Our client, well-established equipment manufacturer is seeking a PLC Programmer to join their industrial control panel shop. They are a Schneider Electric Automation partner and build small simple relay logic panels all the way up to large multi panel distributed control systems. This position is located in northern Washington in a great community to live and work.Responsibilities· Program PLC control systems using a CODESYS based IDE.· Create HMI projects using Vijeo Designer.· Integration of PLCs, HMI, VFDs, Remote IO, and other devices via various fieldbus methods such as Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP, CANOpen, Modbus RTU, HART, and IO-Link, and various ethernet based protocols.· Testing manufactured control systems in house prior to shipping.· Proactive involvement in projects and OEM product development.Desired Profile· Experience in Codesys or other PLC based IEC 61131-3 development environments.· Experience in industrial network protocols such as ModbusTCP, CANOpen.· Database experience, such as Microsoft SQL Server, MYSQL.· Willingness to write disciplined, organized, and well-documented code.· Has experience commissioning and troubleshooting control systems.· Understanding of electrical concepts.
