Martin/Martin is currently seeking an experienced structural engineer for our Lakewood, Colorado office, offering a unique opportunity to work on nationally recognized projects on our Aviation team. Project type include international terminal, regional airport, aircraft hangar, flight training center and general aviation facilities. Candidates will have the opportunity to manage projects and budgets with fees ranging from $10k-$1M+. Examples Of Responsibilities
- Manages engineering and technician staff to complete projects.
- Coordinates structural design scope in-house and with other consultants.
- Develops, monitors, and manages project work plans, schedules, and design budgets.
- Serves as the primary point-of-contact with clients and contractors for their projects throughout design and construction.
- Develops and implements project specific QA/QC plans.
- Acts as a mentor and resource for less-experienced staff and assists with their career development.
- Attends project meetings and represents Martin/Martin, Inc. during design and construction.
- Takes an active role in developing and maintaining client relationships.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited engineering curriculum
- A minimum of 8 years progressive engineering experience
- Demonstrates leadership abilities beneficial to the company's future
- Has designed numerous projects and followed them through from start of design to end of construction
- Demonstrates effective internal and external communication skills
- Demonstrates advanced project management skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations/deadlines
