Position : API Developer

Description : Cymertek is looking for a skilled API developer to collaborate with system engineers and software engineers to design, develop, install, deploy, operate, and manage the application programming interface (API) and other necessary middleware for a large scale, enterprise application. You will participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server side logic. Liaises with developers, designers, and system administrators to identify new features. Helps front-end developers with coding and troubleshooting.

Clearance Requirement : Active TS/SCI with Polygraph

Required Skills/Education

1. Approximately 4+ years of experience as a SWE (Software Engineer) in a technical role.
2. Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science or related discipline) desired, but not required.
3. Candidates should have experience with Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful interfaces.
4. Experience with one or more of the following is desired, but not required: NodeJS, Kong, JSON Web Token (JWT), Docker.
