About The Team
The Data Engineering arm of the Workday Community is responsible for creating and managing the infrastructure, code, and data supporting analytics surrounding the internal and external use of the community website.
About The Role
The senior data engineer will be responsible for the following:
- Define data sources
- Work with other internal teams to capture analytics data
- Prepare recommendations for the most efficient services to process data sources
- Design and populate Redshift tables (including ETL processes)
- Design and populate business views for reporting and visualization software
- Apply ML techniques for gaining insights into the data
- Effectively collaborate with internal and external team members.
About You
You have:
- 5+ years of experience in the data engineering field
- Expert level skills with SQL queries
- Proficient level skills with AWS services and tooling
- Advanced database management
- Desire to continue to learn and grow your skills
- Love working in a collaborative environment
Workday Pay Transparency Statement
The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $160,200 USD - $240,200 USD
Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $116,500 USD - $240,200 USD
