Job DescriptionInsight Global is looking for a traveling Field Service Engineer to join a leading semiconductor client in the Hillsboro Oregon area. An ideal candidate is someone who is a self-starter, has a positive attitude, is a team player, and can support our systems at the customer site in a professional manner. The FSE will perform engineering and technical activities, while utilizing companys R&D teams to direct technology development of new products. The FSE will be responsible for trouble shooting equipment, communicating any problems to the division, quantifying the problem and formulating a clear solution to headquarters. Additionally, the FSE will support to equipment installations, add-ons, and upgrades and will maintain proper reporting methods for all activities of customer support. The FSE will maintain inventory and ensure proper level of stock is available at any given time. They will produce a weekly report on assigned customers/systems covering: systems status, pare to chart, forwarding of all FSRs, customers relevant information, sales support issues, and inventory consumption and levels (monthly).
