About This Opportunity
FPA is currently searching for a full-time Staff Engineer- Bridge for our Wall, New Jersey office. As a Senior Staff Engineer within the Bridge Group at French & Parrello Associates, you play a pivotal role in the design, analysis, and management of bridge projects. Leveraging your extensive experience and expertise in structural engineering, you oversee the development of innovative solutions, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Through your technical proficiency and skills, you contribute to the firm's reputation for excellence in bridge engineering and uphold its commitment to delivering high-quality, sustainable infrastructure solutions.

Core Responsibilities
- Develop design plans for a variety of transportation improvement projects utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation Software under supervision of a Professional Engineer.
- Develop construction cost estimates and project specific specifications.
- Coordinate with all applicable regulatory agencies and utilities
- Collaborate with staff within the transportation group and across various other disciplines on larger projects.
Routine Activities
- Assist with construction support services including in-office engineering and field inspections.
- Assist with designs and permit submissions.
- Complete design reports, calculations, models, drawings, reports, and technical specifications.
What We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years of bridge design and structural analysis experience. Construction Inspection and Bridge Inspection experience also considered.
- A degree in structural engineering is preferred.
- Familiarity with AASHTO and NJDOT design specifications.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD software, including MicroStation experience, a strong plus.
