Responsibilities:
- Understand the Customer business and technical requirements.
- Design the solution to help prototype and develop the customer's new environment.
- Installation, configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting of the end-to-end solution.
- Be part of the foundation of our Support and Delivery organization.
- Design and implement tools to monitor production clusters and minimize downtime.
- Responsible for the data loading process, data transformation, and BI reporting.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of professional experience.
- B.S. in Computer Science - Strong knowledge of Hadoop including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Strong experience with Linux clusters.
- Scripting Knowledge (Python, Java, Scala, etc).
- Experience with Cloud services (AWS or Azure).
- NICE TO HAVE: M.S. in Computer Science.
- Experience in fault-tolerant, secure and scalable distributed systems.
