Lending Systems Engineer

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Lending Systems Engineer to join our team, focusing on developing and implementing scalable solutions in our cloud system and Salesforce loan origination system. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development, cloud technologies, and system integrations, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Essential Functions:

• Develop software scripts and applications to automate routine tasks and improve system efficiency.
• Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of our cloud-based systems and Salesforce loan origination platform.
• Collaborate with technology teams and key business stakeholders to identify and implement scalable solutions to enhance business systems infrastructure and services.
• Assist with system integrations, software configurations, and product launches, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the interaction between multiple cloud-based systems, actively seek and propose better alternatives to existing systems, and critically evaluate current development methodologies.
• Document technical solutions, procedures, and best practices for knowledge sharing and future reference.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to support continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding IT security, data protection, and confidentiality.

Competencies/Skills:

• Experience with software development and scripting languages such as Python, SQL, java or bash scripting.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g. Azure) and Salesforce or willingness to learn with the opportunity for company-sponsored training and certification in these systems.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with end-users and technical teams.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• 2+ years relevant experience.
• Relevant certifications in software development, cloud platforms, or Salesforce are a plus.
