CGI Federal is currently looking for a Principal Test Automation Engineer with active Top-Secret clearance to support a large project for a federal government client. The Principal Test Automation Engineer will have the opportunity to work in an agile environment, utilizing a variety of skills and languages in a fast-paced, cutting-edge setting where their input can enhance processes and team interactions. This position can be based in Washington DC or Huntsville, AL.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Engage with clients, requiring excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Work closely with design & product teams to create test cases and test plans.
- Perform manual and automation testing.
- Identify and address risks within the team.
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
- Active Top-Secret clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in software development, or related discipline.
- 10+ years of test engineering experience.
- Linux Admin, VMWare vSphere 6/7 experience, SPLUNK Server administration, Dell Server, and SAN Storage hardware experience.
- Experience with Docker, Microsoft SQL, Oracle databases, Angular, JavaScript including Ember.js, Spring Boot, Spring, in addition to a focus on cloud skillsets, specifically AWS solution architecture.
- Strong Oracle database and MS SQL experience is required.
- Apache Niagra Files (NiFi).
- Apache TIKA.
- Databricks and Lakehouse architecture.
- ElasticSearch.
- AWS SQL.

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licenses and certifications. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $85,800.00 - $168,900.00.
