Position: Electrical Drafter
Location: Sand Springs, OK
Pay: $47,320/year
Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of experience as an Electrical Designer
- Experience with electrical design in Hazardous Areas
- Experience with SOLIDWORKS
Education: Education or certification in Electrical AutoCAD
Type: Full-time; Direct Hire

Job Description:
- Collaborate with the project team to review equipment and system functions.
- Interface with the project team to resolve technical issues and ensure expectations are met.
- Work with engineering personnel to develop electrical drawing packages using AutoCAD Electrical.
- Assist automation personnel with field research of existing electrical systems, testing installed systems, and commissioning PLC/HMI-based control systems.
- Perform project tasks while adhering to scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
- Utilize, support, and enhance automation standards and best practices.
- Maintain revision control for electrical drawings and engineering specifications.
- Communicate proficiently across all departments.
- Prioritize and execute tasks with minimal supervision.
- Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- Knowledge of NFPA 70, UL 508A
- Demonstrated proficiency with the use of AutoCAD Electrical 2021
- Understand commonly used electrical symbols, schematics and components
- Possession of strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to comprehend engineering specifications
- Proficiently communicate between all departments
- Prioritize and execute tasks with minimal supervision
- Utilize critical reasoning skills
