JOB TITLE: Software Engineering Manager

DUTIES:

1. Develop highly-scalable applications for the AWS/HCC cloud by building Microservices
2. Define and implement technical solutions to meet business needs through Agile process
3. Foster high-performance, collaborative technical work resulting in high-quality output
4. Gather and analyze data to aide in informed decision-making while providing detailed, realistic estimates
5. Interact skillfully with business stakeholders and third-party technical organizations
6. Proactively automate infrastructure, application and services to enable an automated delivery through the CI/CD pipelines to the cloud
7. Manage software engineers workload, set expectations, conduct performance appraisals, provide training

Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S.

REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field and 7 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Engineering manager-related occupation. Position requires 7 years of experience in the following:

• software engineering with Java
• DevOps, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery (Jenkins)
• building and deploying applications to the HCC/OCP cloud
• working in an Agile environment
• modern programming languages, systems, and architectures
• Selenium Automation with Java, Cucumber, Junit
• Splunk and NewRelic

RATE OF PAY: $135,200 - $182,359/ Year
