Torin is seeking experienced System Engineers to join our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Deploy and administer Linux systems to include scripting and automation technologies.
  2. Linux networking, to include iptables, firewalld, and Linux-as-a-Router.
  3. Hands-on experience with networking hardware, to include Cisco and Juniper.
  4. Networking fundamentals, operations, and maintenance.
  5. Network monitoring, including the use of Packet-Capture and log review.
  6. Develop, test, analyze, and use bespoke technical solutions.
  7. Virtualization technologies, including oVirt and Open vSwitch.
  8. ICD 503 process and obtaining Approval-To-Operate.
  9. Build, operate and maintain, “Zero Trust” Architectures and Networks.
  10. User enrollment and training.
  11. Demonstrated experience with denied area technical operations.
  12. Configure and operate different VOIP technologies.
  13. Network, especially concerning Linux systems and VPN technologies.
  14. Apply knowledge from emerging technologies research for immediate gain.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE:

  1. Demonstrated experience working with ElasticSearch.
  2. Demonstrated experience using AWS to include S3, EC2, SNS, SQS, and Lambda.
  3. Demonstrated experience in platform and application automated deployment.
  4. Demonstrated experience in cloud deployment, DevOps, containerization, web service and API management, and computing optimization.
  5. Demonstrated experience in cloud database, storage, virtualization, and network configurations.
  6. Demonstrated experience implementing DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines to support a multi-tenant environment.
  7. Demonstrated experience incorporating automated software quality checks, security scanning, infrastructure-as-code, and other modern DevSecOps tools and practices.
  8. Demonstrated experience working within cloud computing environments, Linux and Unix-based operating systems, and using ElasticSearch and Kibana.
  9. Demonstrated experience using requirements tracking programs such as JIRA or Confluence.
  10. Demonstrated experience maintaining, upgrading, troubleshooting, and managing software, hardware, and networks.
  11. Demonstrated experience installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
  12. Demonstrated experience monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues.

HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS AND DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE:

  1. Demonstrated experience working to accredit systems for the Sponsor’s cloud environment according to the Sponsor’s security requirements.
  2. Demonstrated experience in running DataCTRL ETL tool.
  3. Demonstrated experience using NiFi to ETL data.
  4. Demonstrated experience in Data Management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants must have prior customer experience and understand how to research, write and analyze using the client’s proprietary tools and databases. Applicants must be familiar with customer writing styles and USG classified databases, to include specific targeting tools, sources, and methods. Strong briefing and writing skills are a must as well as the ability to work well with a team or individually with minimal supervision.

  1. Bachelor’s degree or 6 years of relevant customer work experience.
  2. Sound judgment and unreproachable integrity.
  3. Ability to multi-task while managing competing priorities and plan and organize tasks independently.
  4. Conduct all aspects of positions with CI and operational security at the forefront.
  5. Work independently with minimal daily direction and be a team player.
  6. Strong written and oral communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  7. Ability to pose creative solutions to operational challenges.
