If you like cloud computing, monoliths and microservices, you’ll have a chance to work with it all as we continue to modernize our technology stack. If you think about infrastructure that only lives in repositories, cloud-agnostic container platforms, and working in a fast-paced environment, you may be the person we’re searching for. What You’ll Be Doing:

  1. Design and deliver engineering solutions for automated processes that orchestrate and manage the infrastructure under the Act-On Platform.

  3. Troubleshoot, assess, and improve processes and systems within the infrastructure.
  4. Tackling Technical Debt, managing rolling release cycles, decommissions and system migrations.
  5. Perform maintenance and ensure uptime of our physical systems.
  6. Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation.

Who You Are:

  1. BS in Computer Science, Engineering (or a related field) or equivalent experience.
  2. Eight years experience in an Operations role, with two or more years in a DevOps role.
  3. Containerization and Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, EKS a plus.
  4. Puppet Community, Ansible, Jenkins & Terraform Community.
  5. AWS Infrastructure, Solution Architecture and Development, experience with AWS API.
  6. Linux server administration with RHEL/Centos, Amazon Linux 2023.
  7. Observability with Splunk, New Relic, Pingdom, Prometheus, OTEL.
  8. Coding Experience in Git, Python, Bash, Yaml, Java or HCL.

Bonus Experience:

  1. Experience in managing high-capacity SMTP systems (Momentum / PowerMTA).
  2. In depth understanding of IP protocol stack, DNS, LDAP, Load Balancers, Intrusion Detection and Deep Packet Inspection.
  3. CommVault and/or AWS based data archiving.
  4. Atlassian Suite (Bitbucket, Jira).

What We Offer:

  1. Generous Medical, Dental and Vision Benefits.
  2. Flexible time off.
  3. Monthly wellness allowance.
  4. Monthly commuter allowance.
  5. Stock Options and 401k plan with discretionary matching.
  6. Flexible Spending Accounts for health and child care.
  7. EAP access for you and your immediate family.
  8. 3 weeks paid parental leave on top of state paid family leave, (including for fostering & adoption).
  9. Paid time off to volunteer.
  10. Disability Insurance.

Compensation:

The anticipated annual compensation for this position will be $118,000-125,000. Compensation packages are based on a combination of factors, including the selected candidate’s skills, experience as well as internal and external equity.

Culture:

Our values are active guidelines we attempt to live by every day — Put People First, Be Yourself, Do Your Best (Together), and Make It Better . We are working to ensure that all our people feel seen, respected, supported and connected at work, and we celebrate our differences for all the ways they make us stronger together.

In the spirit of those values and beliefs, we are proud to be an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race or ethnicity, national origin, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, religion, socioeconomic status, disability, age, or veteran status. If you have a disability or special need that requires accommodation, please let us know.

Don’t meet every requirement? Statistics show that women and people of color are unlikely to apply to jobs unless they are 100% qualified, which is rarely the case for anyone. So, let’s change that statistic! We strongly encourage individuals from minoritized groups to apply, even if your experience doesn’t align perfectly. If this role excites you, we want to hear from you. You might bring the exact talent and perspective our team needs!
