Mix Talent has joined forces with a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company to help them identify and recruit a skilled software engineer. This new hire will work closely alongside the Senior Staff Software Engineer and Quality Software Engineer, providing technical expertise and support to develop innovative software solutions for the company's cutting-edge research programs.
The role of a Software Engineer is crucial in supporting the Staff Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable web solutions for all clinical trials. With their expertise in web technologies, they contribute to creating high-quality software that meets the needs of clinical protocols and aligns with company objectives. Through collaborative work with cross-functional teams, they can shape the architecture, implement innovative features, and ensure our web applications' performance, security, and usability.
Job Responsibilities:
- Utilize ReactJS, NodeJS, and ExpressJS frameworks to create robust, interactive user interfaces and server-side components.
- Assist in employing AWS Serverless and CI/CD practices for efficient deployment and management of cloud-based applications.
- Assist in the design and development of databases.
- Leverage cloud-based development principles, utilizing platforms like AWS.
- Demonstrate self-motivation and a willingness to learn new technologies to stay updated with industry advancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment of web applications with business and project requirements.
- Assist in implementing and continuing oversight of change control processes and documentation for applicable software products.
Requirements:
- BS or MS in Computer Science, IT, or a related field with a minimum of 1 year of experience.
- Familiarity with building server-side apps and in JavaScript.
- DevOps experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines using a tech stack of GIT, AWS, and JIRA.
This is a full-time, permanent position with our client. Being onsite in California or relocating to the area is preferred but not mandatory.
