About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Site/Civil Engineer to lead and manage diverse land development projects in NYC and the metropolitan area. Working out of our New York City office, this role involves a blend of design, project management, and team leadership, offering opportunities to work on impactful urban projects with public and private sector clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the creation of site/civil engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Oversee project management tasks including budgeting, scheduling, and task management.
- Perform construction administration, including periodic site visits.
- Guide and mentor junior staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
- Licensed Professional Engineer in New York.
- Experience coordinating with clients and design consultants.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet multiple deadlines.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D required.
- Familiarity with NYC permitting approval processes is an asset.
