Site Reliability Engineer (USAF Cloud One) - Various Level & Locations

DescriptionLeidos is pursuing the U.S. Air Force Cloud One Architecture and Common Shared Services contract, and currently has several openings for various levels of across AWS, Azure, Google, and Oracle clouds. Candidates may be required to work onsite as needed. Preferred candidates will be located near Gunter AFB (Montgomery, AL), Hanscom AFB (Boston, MA), Andrews AFB (D.C. Metro Area) , Wright-Patterson AFB, OH or Joint Base Charleston, SC. If any of these locations interest you, please consider applying.Primary Responsibilities Could Include:Use software engineering and systems administration to ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of cloud-based applications and infrastructureUse software as a tool to manage systems, solve problems, and automate operations tasksUse software and automation to solve problems and manage production systemsCreate self-service tools to improve user efficiency, availability, and performanceEnsure capacity management for the appropriate amount of resources for services to be scalable, efficient, and reliableForecast system demand and planning for capacity increases to ensure systems can handle expected and unexpected traffic loadsPrepare detailed technical documentation to support development and operational processesCollaborate with team members and provide mentorship to junior staff, fostering a learning environmentMinimum QualificationsBachelors and five (5) years or more of experience; Masters and three (3) years or more of experience. Additional experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.Interim Secret clearance required to start; Ability to obtain Secret clearance required to maintain employmentUS citizenship requiredCertifications: CompTIA Security+ or equivalent (IAT-2)Preferred QualificationsExperience with USAF Cloud One or Platform 1Experience with Zero Trust ArchitectureCloud certifications in AWS, Azure, Google, or Oracle cloudsPlease disregard the pay range listed on the posting.
