Centersquare DC is seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer with a strong focus on security tools to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing our security infrastructure. You will work with a diverse range of security technologies and methodologies to ensure our systems are protected, compliant, and efficiently monitored. Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage vulnerability and compliance scanning tools, with a focus on products like Qualys and Tenable
- Develop and maintain logging methodologies using platforms such as Splunk
- Configure and deploy Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS)
- Manage deployment of endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions, specifically CrowdStrike
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security best practices across our infrastructure
- Continuously assess and improve our security posture through proactive monitoring and analysis
- Assist in incident response and security investigations as needed
- Stay current with emerging security threats and technologies, recommending and implementing improvements to our security infrastructure
- Participate in the automation of security processes
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of information security principles and best practices
- Experience with vulnerability and compliance scanning tools (e.g., Qualys, Tenable)
- Proficiency in log management and analysis, particularly with Splunk
- Familiarity with IDS/IPS methodologies and implementation
- Experience with endpoint detection and response solutions, specifically CrowdStrike
- Solid understanding of networking protocols and security concepts
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of virtual infrastructure and cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, etc.)
- Intermediate Python programming skills
- Experience with configuration management solutions (SaltStack preferred, but Ansible or Puppet also valuable)
- Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, GIAC)
