The Systems Engineer I is responsible for the management and allocation of performance requirements throughout the development, deployment, sustainment, and demilitarization of DoD products and technologies developed by ArmorWorks. Additionally, the Systems Engineer I is responsible for reviewing designs and generating technical artifacts to show requirements compliance, as well as assisting in the creation of verification and qualification test plans to support various composite armor, blast seat, and forced entry barrier technologies. Lastly, the Systems Engineer I is responsible for assisting in the creation of technical documents to support customer contractual requirements, and reviewing Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) of fielded systems and products.

QualificationsRequired
US Citizen.
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Systems Engineering, or higher.
One to five years of experience in Systems Engineering, or a similar discipline.
Strong work ethic, writing ability, and organizational skills.
Experience in collaborating with multi-disciplinary team of Systems, Mechanical, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance Engineers.
Preferred
Experience with DoD product development related to ground combat, marine, and aircraft platforms.
Experience performing reliability and maintainability predictions.
Knowledge of MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-1472, and MIL-STD-464 qualification guidelines.
