Electrical Project Manager

Just Construction Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a specialist electrical contractor, this role will be based on commercial projects within Dallas-Fort Worth.

The suitable candidate must have prior experience as a PM on commercial electrical projects ranging between $3m - $15m.

Our client is looking for candidates either local to DFW, or open to re-location from another area/ state.

Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Management:

• Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
• Review project documents including estimates, design drawings, specifications, customer proposals and contracts.
• Ensure client relationship is properly managed.

Electrical Expertise:

• Possess a deep understanding of electrical systems and requirements specific to various commercial buildings, such as power distribution, emergency backup systems, lighting, and communication networks.
• Adhere to industry-specific standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure that electrical systems meet their unique needs and requirements.

Subcontractor Management:

• Select, manage, and coordinate the work of electrical subcontractors.
• Ensure subcontractors adhere to project schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Quality Assurance:

• Implement quality control measures to ensure that electrical work meets project specifications and industry standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any quality issues.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Safety Management:

• Develop and implement safety plans for electrical work in medical facilities.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and industry-specific safety standards.
• Conduct regular safety training and inspections.

Package:

• Pay: $130,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
• Re-location assistance provided for people out of state or area.

Qualifications/ requirements:

• Proven experience (5+ years) in commercial electrical project management.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and industry standards.
• Solid understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.
• Familiarity with electrical design, codes, and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEC).
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
