Line of Business Job Description:
The role is an individual contributor role that will support the DWO division under the CSWO – Global Operations (GO) line of business. This role requires a specialized skillset in content design experience, specifically with OpenText Exstream and Messagepoint.
Job Description:
Develops, enhances, debugs, supports, maintains and tests software applications that support business units or supporting functions. These application program solutions may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools. Participates in the design, development and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies. May provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives. Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource. Will not have direct reports but may lead projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations. May have responsibility for a project and project budget. May collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software application. Routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities. Works under minimal supervision, with general guidance from more seasoned consultants. Typically requires 5-7 years of experience.
Responsibilities:
The main function of a Developer (other specialty) is to design, develop, and implement in applications using in-demand languages and technologies to support business requirements
Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications
Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis effort
Lead projects and direct activities of a team related to special development initiatives or operations
Will not have direct reports but will lead projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations
May provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives
May collaborate with external programmers to coordinate delivery of software application
Required Qualifications:
5+ years’ experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) (OpenText Exstream, Messagepoint, Pega, Salesforce, etc.)
Experience designing and developing correspondence documents (forms, statements, letters, disclosures, etc.) on multiple software platforms (Exstream, Messagepoint, etc.)
Experience in independently leading the refinement of template requirements, managing the template development life cycle through production implementation
Experience in designing, developing & successful deployment of large-scale projects from end-to-end
Hands on experience in following the iterative and agile SDLC
Excellent organizational, analytical, verbal, and written skills
Able to communicate challenges and successes clearly and foster positive working relationships
Proficient in MS Office Products – especially Excel and PowerPoint
Desired Qualifications :
Able to work well independently and in large group settings, as well as handle multiple assignments simultaneously
Able to work in Agile environment and familiar with Agile Methodologies
Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement
Minimum Education Requirement: High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent work experience
